Benchmark Genetics strengthens its commercial team in Asia

Mr. Chung Mai has been hired as Sales Manager responsible for the commercial strategy, planning, and activities in Asia connected with the Benchmark Genetics Shrimp breeding programme.

Coming from Kerry Animal Health and Nutrition before joining Benchmark, in his carrier Chung has held several positions of responsibility in commercial, coordination, and technical tasks. With a highly commercial profile, and an ample industry commercial and technical network built through his over 15 years experience, Chung has also gained valuable expertise on feed formulation, quality control, and raw materials, as well as animal health and supply chain, giving him valuable tools to help our customers in a wide range of needs.     

As well as Bachelor of Biology in Aquatic Products Processing Technologies by the Nha Trang University in Vietnam, Chung Mai holds an MSc in Project Management by University of Nantes (France) and Foreign Trade University (Vietnam), and an MSc in Animal Science from the University of Tours (France) and University of Agriculture and Forestry (Vietnam).

In his new position, Chung will report to Bruno Decock, Operations Manager of Benchmark’s Shrimp breeding program in Asia.
